problem

TOCA was created in response to a growing problem: the erosion of privacy and personal autonomy in a world dominated by digital surveillance, constant connectivity, and electromagnetic exposure. Smartphones, bank cards, and laptops have become tools of convenience, but also tools of tracking, data harvesting, and mental distraction. Most people don’t have access to products that offer real protection, and the few available options are often poorly designed, unattractive, or ineffective. The need for stylish, functional tools to support digital disconnection and privacy is more urgent than ever.

solution

TOCA provides a clear solution. We design and manufacture privacy-first accessories that combine strong functionality with sharp, urban aesthetics. Our product line includes Faraday bags that block signals from phones and other devices, RFID wallets that protect personal data from skimming, privacy screen protectors, camera covers, and our flagship item: the No Signal Sleeve, a sleek pouch that cuts off all EMF and radio signals for full disconnection. Every product is built with the user in mind, balancing practicality, design, and durability to serve people who care about their digital safety, focus, and independence.

The story of TOCA began with a personal need to disconnect from the noise and regain control over technology use. After experiencing digital burnout and increasing awareness of surveillance practices, I developed early prototypes to shield my own devices. What began as an experiment grew into a mission: to build a brand that merges technical protection with minimalist style. TOCA is now a small but global operation based between Germany and Indonesia, with over six years in the market and a growing community of privacy-conscious customers, from journalists and activists to entrepreneurs and urban creatives. At its core, TOCA empowers people to unplug on their own terms, making privacy not only accessible, but wearable.

TOCA’s journey began with a personal mission to reclaim autonomy in a hyperconnected world. What started as a one-person experiment to block signals from smartphones and laptops soon evolved into a broader initiative addressing the growing concerns around digital surveillance, electromagnetic exposure, and mental distraction. Through direct experience, field testing, and dialogue with privacy-conscious communities, the founder identified a clear gap: people needed functional, stylish tools to disconnect and regain control over their digital presence.

Determined to fill this gap, TOCA was built with a focus on technical precision and design integrity. From the first prototypes to the full product line, each item was carefully developed using specialized EMF-blocking textiles, intuitive formats, and durable materials. The goal was simple: offer practical tools that make privacy accessible, wearable, and part of everyday life.

Since its inception, TOCA has grown into a global operation between Germany and Indonesia, serving thousands of users—from journalists and activists to entrepreneurs and creatives. The brand has become a trusted ally for those who seek focus, independence, and peace of mind in a noisy, connected world. TOCA continues to evolve with its community, advancing the digital disconnection movement through design-led solutions and a clear vision: privacy is a right, not a luxury.
